High-speed regional service in Britain  -  Our subsidiary Keolis has teamed up with a partner to operate the world’s first regional high-speed service, with trains reaching peak speeds of 225 km/h. The line serves commuters southeast of London.

Turin’s Porta Susa station  -  Our subsidiary Arep helped design Turin’s new 15,000 sq m Porta Susa station, the first Italian stop on the future Paris-Rome TGV line. A 380-m glassed-in gallery showcases the underground tracks.

Green logistics with Distripolis  -  For easy, eco-friendly deliveries to downtown areas, our subsidiary Geodis launched Distripolis in Paris and Strasbourg—green logistics come to town.

Paper reels in Sweden  -  Our subsidiary Captrain created a customized rail transport solution for Swedish logistics group ScandFibre, shipping 1.8 million tonnes of paper a year to 10 European countries.

Normandie Rail Services in Le Havre  -  SNCF Geodis launched Normandie Rail Services (NRS), now handling freight transfers for the ports of Le Havre and Gravenchon as part of a future multimodal hub (rail, sea and waterways).

Tram service in Bordeaux’s city centre -  Our subsidiary Keolis achieved a world first in Bordeaux—a tram with underground power supply. With no overhead cables, the elegance and charm of the historic city centre are preserved.

Tram service returns to central Bergen (Norway) -  Bergen, population 250,000, is Norway’s second-largest city after Oslo. Following a 45-year lull, its tram network is now back in service, thanks to Keolis.

Multimodal rail solution  -  Our subsidiary Naviland Cargo introduced an international multimodal rail service linking the French port of Le Havre to south-western Germany, birthplace of the chemical industry.

Wuhan station (China)  -  Our subsidiary Arep designed and supervised construction of the station at Wuhan, the economic capital of central China. With a floor area of 120,000 sq m under two giant wings, the station is as big as three football stadiums.

Training train drivers in Taiwan -  In Taiwan, 139 train drivers have received 17,000 hours of training on high-speed trains.

Shining on the Gold Coast (Australia)  -  Following successes in Melbourne, Keolis will soon be operating the Gold Coast light rail system in Queensland. Service is scheduled to start in 2014, with 50,000 passengers a day—and a few more when Australia hosts the world surfing championships

Financial Tower in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) -  Our subsidiary AREP built Financial Tower, a 68-floor office block and retail centre that is a symbol of economic development in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s business capital.

Virginia Railway Express (USA)  -  Our subsidiary Keolis operates the Virginia Railway Express, a rail network serving southern and western suburbs of Washington, DC. Its 30 trains carry 19,000 passengers a day.

Metro in Santiago (Chile)  -  For 40 years our subsidiary Systra has helped develop public transport in Santiago, the Chilean capital. Now Systra is contributing to the construction and start-up of metro line extensions serving over 2 million passengers.

Coach service in Canada  -  32 million passengers travel every year in coaches operated by our subsidiary Keolis in eastern Canada.

Tectrans shuttles (USA)  -  Our subsidiary Keolis strengthened its position in the United States by acquiring Tectrans, a provider of urban and suburban transport, taxis, airport shuttles and more.

Dubai metro -  Our subsidiary Systra designed and supervised construction of Dubai’s new automated metro system—75 km of lines that will ultimately carry 1.8 million passengers.

Kenitra station (Morocco)  -  Our engineers are busy building Africa’s first high-speed train line, linking Tangiers to Marrakesh via Rabat and Casablanca. The first leg—Tangiers to Kenitra—should be up and running in 2015.

Tram service in Lusail (Qatar)  -  Lusail, a new town of 200,000 in Qatar, has its eye on an ambitious tramway network. Plans call for 4 lines totalling 28 km, with 8 km underground. Our subsidiary Systra is doing preliminary studies.
