If you already have a valid Escapades railcard, you automatically qualify for the new Week-end benefits. There’s no need to change your card.
Reductions apply to all return journeys totalling over 200 km, provided:
- you spend at least one night—a Friday, Saturday or Sunday—at your destination
- or you travel during the day on Saturday or Sunday

Ticket exchanges & refunds
For TGV and Intercité trains requiring reservations, you can still exchange your tickets free of charge or receive a full refund until the day before your scheduled departure. Le jour du départ, une retenue de 3€ par personne et par trajet est appliquée au lieu de 10€ sans carte(4), à laquelle s'ajoute la différence de prix éventuelle entre le billet échangé et le nouveau billet.And if you exchange your tickets on the day of departure, you pay only €3 per person per journey—instead of €10* for non-cardholders—plus the difference, if any, between the tickets you exchanged and your new ones.
