Family Travel

If your family travels regularly by train and one of your children is under 12, the Enfant + railcard is for you. The holder and up to 4 additional family members enjoy these benefits:

• 25-50% off for 4 accompanying adults or children, right up to the last minute
• The cardholder’s ticket costs 50% of an adult ticket after the discount. Children under 4 travel free and get their own seat.
• Tickets can be exchanged and refunded at no charge until the day before departure, and for a fee on the day of departure.

Grandparents qualify for the same discount when travelling by train with their grandchildren during holidays . (At least one grandchild must be an Enfant+ cardholder.)

Additional advantages:

• With the Enfant+ railcard, you can also get special family deals at hotels in the Accor group.
• An Enfant+ railcard also gives you special deals with Avis rental cars, including up to 3 child car seats at no extra charge.

If you have 3 or more children under 18, you qualify for our Familles Nombreuses card. For 3 full years, you, your spouse and all children under 18 enjoy:

• 30%, 40%, 50% or 75% off full-fare Loisir tickets for TGV, Intercité and TER trains, depending on the number of children.
• a 50% discount for Transilien trains in the Greater Paris region (one-way, return, and books of t + tickets.

The card can be used for 1^st and 2^nd class travel. Your discount is based on the standard Loisir fare or regular 2^nd class fare.

A Familles Nombreuses card can be issued until your youngest child reaches 18, and remains valid for 3 years after that.

Your Familles Nombreuses card (in French) gives you special discounts and other benefits with some merchants.

If you have 1 or 2 children under 18 and meet certain income requirements, ask for an Enfant Famille card. You’ll get special fares on TGV and Intercité lines where reservations are required:

• 25-50% discount for you and your spouse
• an additional 50% off the reduced adult fare for your children ages 4 to 12
• a free seat for children under 4

Parents must be travelling with their children to qualify for these fares, but children can use the card even when they travel alone.

The Enfant Famille railcard is valid for three years. You can apply for it up to the 18^th birthday of your last child.
