Disability access services

Our Accès Plus, Accès Plus Transilien and Accès TER services offer disability access solutions that make it easier for you to travel in Paris, regionally and on the French national network.

Accès Plus information and booking

By telephone
  • Dial 0 890 640 650 (+33(0) 890 640 650 from outside France) and press 1. You pay €0.11 per minute, including tax, from a landline, plus any fees charged by your service provider.
  • Or dial 36 35 from inside France and say “Accès Plus”. From a landline, you pay €0.40 including tax for the first minute, and €0.11 including tax for each additional minute. Additional fees may be charged by your service provider.

Accès Plus
for travel
on the French
national network

Having a disability shouldn‘t make it harder to travel. That's why we created our Accès Plus service, which provides a companion to meet you at the station and escort you to your train when you travel on the French national rail network.

Free of charge and available in nearly 360 stations, the service is designed to simplify your journey. Use Accès Plus to:

  • buy your tickets
  • book a companion to meet you at the station and escort you to your seat on the train
  • get the information you need to make your journey go smoothly.

Your Accès Plus companion can also carry one piece of luggage. If you need to take multiple pieces of luggage weighing over 15 kg, supplement Accès Plus with our Door-to-door luggage delivery service, and save 25%, starting with your second bag*.

You qualify for Accès Plus if you:

  • hold a disability card, a priority seating card, or a disabled parking badge
  • hold a military medical discharge card or military pensioner’s card
  • routinely use on a wheelchair and come to the station with it

To take advantage of the full range of services, contact Accès Plus any day, from 07.00 to 22.00, at least 48 hours before your departure.


Accès TER
for regional travel

If you have a disability, SNCF offers special services to make your regional travel easier. With Accès TER*, you can arrange for assistance in the station when you book your tickets for regional journeys.

You qualify for Accès TER if you:

  • hold a disability card, regardless of the nature or degree of disability
  • hold a military medical discharge card or military pensioner’s card
  • use a wheelchair and come to the station with it

If your journey involves both regional and national networks, Accès TER and Accès Plus will coordinate with each other when you book, providing you with the information and services you need in each station, from departure through connection to arrival.

Accès Plus Transilien
for travel
in the Paris region

If you use a wheelchair or hold a disability card with a rating of 80% or more, you qualify for Accès Plus Transilien assistance, free of charge, in nearly 64 stations in the Paris regions, on RER lines A, B and E, and on Transilien lines C, H, J, L, N and U.

You can also book a journey from any SNCF station with Accès Plus Transilien to any accessible RATP station on RER lines A and B.

How does Accès Plus Transilien work?

  • Accès Plus is available every day on all trains between any two stations that offer the service. You must book at least one day before your departure date
  • your departure, connecting and arrival stations are notified that you’ll be coming (07.00-20.00)
  • a dedicated employee helps you on and off your train, using a specially designed system
