Door-to-Train service

Are you a senior citizen with limited mobility? Perhaps you have a short- or long-term disability? Or you’re pregnant and travelling with a small child? Book our Door-to-Train service, and we’ll have a travel assistant pick you up and escort you all the way to your seat on the train.


Information & booking

Inside France, call 3635 (€0.34/min including tax, plus any fees charged by your service provider) at least 7 days before your scheduled departure and say “Domicile-Train” or press #48.

To request in-station or on-board assistance through our Accès Plus service, call 3635 and say “Accès Plus” (€0.34/min including tax, plus any fees charged by your service provider).

Short- or long-term
disability

Need a little help getting from home to your seat on the train? With our Door-to-Train service, you can travel with confidence. This support service is designed especially for:

  • passengers over 60 who want to travel with confidence
  • pregnant women
  • passengers with young children (under 18)
  • passengers with crutches, a broken arm, or other temporary limits on their mobility
  • minor children travelling solo
  • passengers with disabilities or limited mobility who are using our Accès Plus service. In this case you must book Accès Plus when you book your Door-to-Train service. Accès Plus, a complimentary service for passengers with disabilities or limited mobility, provides a travel assistant to meet you at the station and escort you to your train.

We’ll assist you
coming & going

When you choose our Door-to-Train service, we escort you all the way from your home to your seat in the train:

  • at home: a trained assistant picks you up at your home at the time of your choice and takes you to the station. Before you leave, he’ll make sure that everything is in order—gas and electricity turned off? burglar alarm set?—and then help with your luggage (up to 3 bags per service) and your pet, if he or she is travelling with you
  • at the station: once at the station, your assistant punches your ticket, helps you with any last-minute shopping, and then takes you to your seat, helps you get settled, stows your luggage and makes sure you’re comfortable before the train departs
  • at your destination: you can also book Door-to-Train assistance for your destination. A travel assistant will meet you as you get off the train and take you to your final destination

Luggage

When you use our Door-to-Train service, you may bring up to 3 pieces of luggage.

If you book Accès Plus for the same trip, you are limited to one bag weighing less than 15 kg.


Available
in 130 stations

Door-to-Train service is offered in stations throughout France*.

In the Paris region, for example, you can book our Door-to-Train service for the stations in Paris, Mantes-la-Jolie and Massy-Palaiseau.

If you live in Northern France, we can take you to the stations in Lille, Roubaix and Tourcoing.

In the West, we offer Door-to-Train support for the Brest, Nantes and Bordeaux Saint Jean stations.

In Central France, a Door-to-Train assistant can escort you to the Tulle, Clermont-Ferrand and Orléans stations.

In Eastern France, the service is available for the Strasbourg, Nancy and Dijon stations.

And in the South, your travel assistant can take you to the Biarritz, Marseille Saint-Charles and Nice stations.

Pricing & booking

Pricing for our Door-to-Train service varies with the location of your home and the distance from your departure station. To help us provide you with the very best service, you must book at least 7 days before your departure.


If you’re a French resident, you can get a tax credit equal to 50% of your Door-to-Train fee when you make direct payment to our partner, Age d’Or Service, using a personal cheque or a Chèque Emploi Service Universel employment voucher.
