Frequently asked questions (in French)

Junior & Cie
monitors

Children who participate in Junior & Cie travel in the care of a trained professional monitor provided by H2A Group, known for the expertise of its guides and companions. Each adult is responsible for no more than 11 children.

How it works:

  • a monitor takes responsibility for your child, from the departure station all the way to the Junior & Cie pick-up point in the destination station
  • on board the train, the monitor offers fun, engaging activities for the children, keeping them safe and comfortable throughout the journey
  • at the destination station, the monitor ensures that your child is entrusted to the person you designate, after his or her identity has been verified

Junior & Cie is also open to children with disabilities. Just let us know when you book, so that we can make the necessary arrangements to include your child and ensure his or her safety.

Children requiring special care or medical assistance are not eligible to participate in Junior & Cie.

What parents say

“My daughter has always enjoyed her journeys. It gives her an opportunity to make ‘train friends’.”

“My son was delighted with the monitors and the activities. He laughed a lot and had a wonderful time. When he got off the train, he was grinning ear to ear and had tonnes of funny stories to tell. Thanks so much."

What parents say

“Excellent service. The monitors took good care of my child and established a good rapport. We’ll be back to Junior & Cie for next year’s holidays. Keep up the good work!”

“Really super. The staff were very professional. The children are delighted, and they’re in such good hands that I don’t worry about sending them off.”

Travel tips

How is your child entrusted to our care? What documents should your child bring on the departure date?

Our trained monitors take your child into their care at the departure station, at the Junior & Cie pick-up point indicated on your travel confirmation and information sheet. Your child must be at the pick-up point one hour before departure during the school holidays, and 30 minutes before departure at weekends (outside school holidays).

We’ll provide a document sleeve on a lanyard so you can put all the necessary documents around your child’s neck.

The sleeve must contain the following documents:

  • the child’s information sheet (1), completed and signed by you. The information sheet must provide contact information for the person responsible for picking your child up at the destination station.
  • your child’s train ticket (2) and Junior & Cie form, which you must punch in advance
  • your child’s ID (or passport for international journeys) and Familles Nombreuses card (required for discounts under our Familles Nombreuses programme)
  • a luggage label with your child’s name and address

(1) The information sheet will be sent in your first Junior & Cie mailing. If you have an email address, you will receive the information sheet by email only.
(2) These materials will be sent in your second mailing.
