Want to bring your bicycle on board? Find out what we offer and what you need to know about travelling with your bike on SNCF trains in the Paris region, throughout France and around Europe.
To bring your bicycle aboard a TGV without folding or disassembling it, book a space for it when you order your ticket. The cost is just €10. If you fold or disassemble your bicycle and pack it in a bike bag no larger than 120 cm x 90 cm, it is treated as carryon luggage and travels with you at no charge, as long as there is space available.
Your bicycle is welcome aboard Ouigo and iDTGV trains provided you fold or disassemble it and pack it in a bike bag no larger than 120 cm high by 90 cm wide. Your bike will be treated as luggage: on Ouigo you pay a fee of €5, but on iDTGV there is no charge unless you have more than two pieces of luggage.
Want to bring your bike aboard your Intercités train? Choose from two options:
Depending on the type of train you choose, you may be required to book a place for your bicycle in the dedicated area. In that case, you must book a space for your bike when you buy your ticket.
