TGV travel

To bring your bicycle aboard a TGV without folding or disassembling it, book a space for it when you order your ticket. The cost is just €10. If you fold or disassemble your bicycle and pack it in a bike bag no larger than 120 cm x 90 cm, it is treated as carryon luggage and travels with you at no charge, as long as there is space available.

Intercités

Want to bring your bike aboard your Intercités train? Choose from two options:

  • fold or disassemble your bicycle, pack it in a bike bag no larger than 120 cm x 90 cm, and it travels for free
  • place your bicycle in a dedicated storage area

Depending on the type of train you choose, you may be required to book a place for your bicycle in the dedicated area. In that case, you must book a space for your bike when you buy your ticket.

  • On daytime trains requiring booking, you must book a space for your bicycle when you buy your ticket. The fee is €10
  • On daytime trains not requiring booking, you can travel with your bicycle if the train has a bicycle storage area. No separate booking for your bicycle is required.
  • Overnight trains include areas where you can store your bicycle for a fee of €10. You must book this space when you buy your ticket.
