Marguerite, mechanical flowers of the meadow / France & World

Marguerite Abouet was born in Yopougon, a district of Abidjan. Her cartoon book, Aya de Yopougon, portrays the colourful atmosphere of the town. At 12 years of age she discovered France and trains.
