Who are we?The answer is found in the first menu on our website - we're the SNCF's 5th business unit, established a year ago. What do we do? We manage, refurbish and develop France's 3,000 railway stations. So why now? Railway services in France are now open to competition between operators, all of whom are entitled to the same access to stations. Our new website is a comprehensive source of information about stations.

For railway professionals, Gares & Connexions presents its offers for operators of railway and other transport services and also for our commercial and institutional partners. This is the place to come if you want to rent office space, open a retail unit, organise an event, buy advertising space or shoot a film in a station! For passengers, if you want to know how to get from your train to the metro, bus or car park service, you will soon simply click on the map of France and the station of your choice. Stations are not just places to catch a train, and you will be able to find information about in-station services such as shopping, eating and drinking.
