The all-new SNCF e-recruitment website is quicker and easier to use.

Start by creating an applicant account. You will be given your own page where you can promote yourself by giving full details of your education and experience. Take your time to fill it in, coming back to add extra details whenever you want. Whenever you apply for a job or send an unsolicited application via the dedicated website, this information is automatically forwarded to the recruitment officer - you don't have to enter it again. You can also add to your application by attaching your CV.
This user account can then be used to set up alerts that you will receive whenever jobs are advertised that match your criteria, to apply for one or more positions and to track your applications.

If your profile matches the company's requirements, you will be contacted by telephone, then invited to the SNCF's Management Division for an Assessment and Selection Day.

A recruitment consultant will explain the job to you,
and if you are already in a job, your professional experience and
      current situation will be analysed.
    Personality and logic tests
    Group case study
    Debriefing interview with a psychologist
Safety test for some jobs like train driver
team leader or production site manager.

InductionThe Management Induction Programme will introduce you to the strategic, economic and technical aspects of the SNCF Group. The programme features 5 modules to help you become more independent in your work and able to play an active role in your own induction and skills development. You will then embark on a 6 to 18-month (depending on the position) training course in railway safety. There is a specific mentoring programme for young graduates, where you work in partnership with a more experienced mentor during the induction period.
