Accès Plus: mobility guaranteed

Disability, station development

10/04/30

Over 460,000 disabled passengers take the train each year. If you have a disability, SNCF has adapted its stations and reinvented its customer services for you.

Disabled passengers now have access to a dedicated Service Centre. Simply contact the Accès Plus Centre (by phone, fax or e-mail) up to two days before the date of departure.
An advisor is available seven days a week (7 am to 10 pm) to deal with your request and arrange your journey from departure to arrival. Your advisor will inform you of the level of accessibility of stations and trains throughout your journey, ensure your specific needs are met and reserve your ticket.

You can also reserve the "Plus" service that you need; a greeter at the station and/or assistance to your seat on the train. The on-board supervisor will be informed of your presence by your reservation.

In the event of unforeseen difficulties or an incident during your journey, the special Emergency Access Line enables the emergency services to locate you and provide treatment in a station or on the train.
Call 0890 640650 then press 2 (€0.11/min incl. VAT). Hearing-impaired passengers can send a text message to 0610 640650 (no surcharge).

This is a free service for holders of disability cards (80% disability or more), military service discharge/war pensioner cards and all wheelchair users.

The Accès Plus centre is available 7 days a week from 7am to 10pm. In the first quarter of 2008, Accès Plus centres will be available in 350 stations.
