On double-decker trains, a calm “Zen” atmosphere reigns on the lower level: mobile phones are switched off and chat is discrete, a relaxing area where quiet is an honoured guest. A sleep kit with a cushion and eye mask is available for just €2. Up top is an area where you can play console games or traditional board games. Departing from Paris, iDTGV takes you to the large southern stations such as Avignon, Marseille, Nîmes, Montpellier, Bordeaux, Toulouse, as well as Toulon, Nice and Perpignan, and, from 9 July, the entire Basque coast.
With at least one return journey per day, from 2 October iDTGV heads East on the Paris<>Strasbourg/Mulhouse route of the TGV Est Européen service.
