For 15 years already, about 100 of them have been there to accompany your children, elderly or disabled people in their train trips. Enabling vulnerable people to get around the Paris region is the role that "Les Compagnons du Voyage" have taken up. The charity was created in 1993 by the SNCF and RATP. Getting to the doctor's, hairdresser's or to the bank on public transport is a challenge for senior citizens and people with a disability. Parents often want some reassurance when sending an unaccompanied child on the train to stay with grandparents out of town. Why not call on the Compagnons du Voyage? They will accompany the person from door to door, seven days a week, throughout the Paris region, France and even abroad. There are nearly 100 volunteers, trained to accompany passengers on the SNCF and RATP network, with an awareness of mobility issues. These guys are passionate about what they do. So how does it work? Contact "Les Compagnons du Voyage" to tell them about your needs - who is travelling, where and when - and what are the specific requirements. You will be sent a personal quote, and then all you have to do is confirm your booking. |
