Welcome on board the first "living" regional train. Not one of mooviTER's carriages is the same as another - because there are so many different ways to travel. You can have fun in the playzone with games consoles on the wall and a touch-screen chess set; you can swot up or catch up on your business in the individual work zone; or you can gaze out at the countryside in the discovery zone with its seats that face out of our wide windows.

A technological masterpiece. Get up-to-the-minute info on the next stop and the connections available on the ten data screens. If there is any disruption, you will be informed of the delay and even the reason for it! Other screens display the weather forecast and information about regional activities and forthcoming cultural events.
And now for the first time on a TER train, the Internet is available for free! Even our regional trains are getting innovative!

When's it going to happen? The first experimental train will be unveiled this September at Innotrans 2008 in Berlin - the showcase for railway excellence.

The train will be inaugurated in Rennes on 10 October and then set off for a tour of the regions of France. It will go into commercial service in Brittany on 6 December. This full-scale trial will be used to gauge the satisfaction of passengers and of the regional authorities that commissioned the design, in order to fine tune the next regional trains of the future.

Big moves from the SNCF. SNCF Proximités has made a massive investment in this experimental project, with the collaboration of Brittany's regional council. Our goal is to reinvent regional train travel, with the obvious aim of helping travellers to choose the train rather than their car, but also in order to offer new innovative services in line with the expectations of the regional councils that commission rail services and are SNCF Proximités' main clients.
This is why we designed mooviTER in modular form, so that the regions can put together their own set-up, tailored to their customers' requirements. With this new 'a la carte' train design, we may end up with as many versions as there are regions of France!
