The SNCF works in 120 countries and is one of the world's leading mobility, transport and logistics groups.

Setting standards in engineering
The SNCF's engineering divisions (Systra, Inexia, SNCF International) are renowned throughout the world, where they are engaged in numerous projects, including high-speed rail in Morocco and the USA and urban transport systems in Denmark and China.

Public transport by Keolis
This subsidiary operates train, tram, bus, metro and bike services in 9 European countries and further afield in Algeria, Canada, the USA and in Melbourne, Australia. It makes SNCF Proximités our fastest-growing business unit internationally.

Our European numbers
SNCF Voyages carries 128 million passengers a year, including 20 million abroad, and operates 53% of European high-speed services. The business unit aims to double its international turnover over the next four years in partnership with other European operators.

World freight champion
SNCF Geodis is in the top 10 of world goods transport and logistics operators. The takeover of the IBM logistics unit in late 2008 (300 subcontractors and 1,200 staff in 59 countries) has given it a world-class supply chain management service. Combined transport (end-to-end transport via sea, rail, road and river) is the other priority for SNCF Geodis. It aims to double goods carried over the next 10 years.

International stations
Arep, a Gares & Connexions brand, is exporting its expertise and designing stations in Shanghai, Mumbai and Cairo, and working with Russian Railways to renovate 13 stations.
