How does SNCF qualification work?
The qualification process involves checking the company's legal, financial, technical and structural capabilities and ability to provide the product or service.

1. The supplier makes an application for SNCF qualification.
2. After receiving the full application, the SNCF has a maximum of 4 months to complete its assessment.
3. The product or service is considered to be 'qualified' for an indefinite period, but this can be revoked at any time should the factors that led SNCF to issue qualification become invalid.

NB: Subsidiaries do not automatically receive qualification based on their parent company's qualification status. They need to apply for qualification in their own right.

Tip:
The number of companies invited to tender by the SNCF will depend on the nature of the contract. Obtaining qualification and submitting an initial application in response to a European notification does not guarantee that your application will be selected for consultation
