Damien Pallant is a graduate of École Nationale de l’Aviation Civile and holds an Executive Master from Sciences Po and the University of St Andrews. He spent most of his career at Air France, where he held various operations management positions over 22 years, rising from co-pilot to VP Operational Performance.

Mr Pallant joined SNCF in 2016 as the Group’s Deputy Chief Safety Officer, and in March 2020, he joined the SNCF Voyageurs Executive Committee as the company’s Chief Safety Officer. While there, he began transforming the corporate safety culture, and simultaneously positioned SNCF Voyageurs as a leader in adopting the new safety regulations under the European Union’s Fourth Railway Package.
