Muriel Signouret holds degrees from École Nationale d’Administration and Institut d'Études Politiques d'Aix-en-Provence, as well as a master's degree in international journalism from the University of London. She worked as a journalist for 10 years before becoming a senior civil servant managing budgets and reporting at the French Ministry of Armed Forces. In 2016, she was appointed Company Secretary of Public Sénat, the television network that covers the proceedings of the French Senate, and led its digital transformation. In February 2020, Ms Signouret was named chief of staff to SNCF Group CEO Jean-Pierre Farandou. In this capacity, she handles international relations, European affairs and regional strategy.
