All aboard OUIGO for the French Riviera

OUIGO has reached a new milestone. You can now book travels at budget fares to various destinations on the French Riviera departing from Paris-Lyon and Lille-Flandres train stations.

OUIGO is five years old

Fancy a week-end in the sun-kissed French Riviera? Our high-speed low-cost trains will now take you there at budget fares. In December 2018 to celebrate OUIGO’s fifth birthday, we added new destinations in the South-East.

Moreover our pink and blue train service now operates from the heart of Paris. After Paris-Montparnasse at year-end 2017 and Paris-Est in July 2018, Paris-Lyon is the third Parisian train station to offer OUIGO service.

There are now, every day, three return-trips to Marseille and Nice, starting and terminating at the one of the main train stations in Paris. And all are at low prices: for example, adult fares start at 19€ for a trip from Paris to Nice.

OUIGO, the revolution of low-cost high speed train travel

Launched in 2013, OUIGO aims to promote low-cost rail service. 33 million passengers have been carried by the service since its inauguration, with trains operating at over 80% capacity. In 2018, this represented 13% of total high-speed travellers in France. 28 destinations across France are currently served.

Additionally, the low-cost fare targets have been met, as 65% of our customers have paid fares lower than 25€ in 5 years.
