Book a ticket

For regional rail travel in France, TER trains are the ticket. The numbers speak for themselves: 810,000 passengers, including 350,000 cardholders, take TER trains every day. That’s 25 million passengers a year. SNCF operates 5,700 TER trains daily plus 2,000 regular coach lines in a total of 20 regions—so that you’ll have easier journeys and simpler connections at SNCF mainline stations.

TER trains by SNCF:

  • partnerships with 20 regional councils, who work with SNCF to identify needs. TER then sets up local transport service with a commitment to quality, continuity of service and passenger information.
  • 1,000 stations offer real-time service updates, with 50 new-generation terminals now installed.
