A winning card for Nottingham

In late 2011, Keolis began operating Nottingham’s tram system: by 2015 it will cover 32 km of line and carry some 20 million passengers annually to Greater Nottingham, one of Britain’s economic hubs. Tasked with deploying an all-new ticketing system by mid-2013, EFFIA developed the contactless “Mango” card, which will allow passengers to spend “transport units” as needed for each destination.
