BRINGING FRENCH TOWNS CLOSER

Since January 2012, all classic SNCF service to medium and long-distance destinations has been brought together under Intercités. With the French State on board, this means a lasting commitment to an offer designed to meet three goals:

  • Link up French towns and cities, large and mid-size
  • Offer simple service at affordable fares
  • Introduce innovative services including M-billet, Garantie Voyage and more.

Advantage No. 1. Promote balanced regional development and mobility for all.
Advantage No. 2.
An offer including day trains (300 trains daily) and overnight travel (25 trains).
Advantage No. 3.
A dense rail network serving 21 regions and 367 towns and cities.
